Work Under NDA

Designing for enterprise logistics means tackling complex, high-volume tools that require confidentiality. While I cannot publish sensitive details, here is a preview of the ongoing projects I am currently leading.

My Role: Lead UX/UI Designer
Scope: Platform Harmonization, Frictionless Onboarding, UX Simplification

Primary Principle: Simplicity

DB SCHENKER | CONNECT → myDSV

Following DSV’s acquisition of DB Schenker, core services like the Connect platform (booking flow and dashboard) are being brought together for both existing DB Schenker users and new DSV clients.

I am leading the dashboard redesign to make this change smooth for both groups:

DB Schenker Users: Fixing key frustrations gathered from our user surveys and interviews.

Transitioning DSV Users: Making sure new users can learn and adapt to the system quickly.

Design Strategy: Keeping It Simple

To help everyone adjust smoothly, the new design focuses on Simplicity First:

Clear Actions Instead of Icons: Replaced vague icons with obvious action buttons, so users always know what to click next.

Easier Daily Workflows: Rearranged the main screen to put top daily tasks—like quick bookings and tracking shipments—front and center.

Step-by-Step Onboarding: Added a short, optional walkthrough for first-time visitors to help them get comfortable right away.

Unified Map Solution

Another project I recently worked on is Unified Map Solution (name changed per NDA). Dispatchers currently lack a centralized view of active vehicle positions across the fleet. This fragmentation creates significant operational friction:

Communication Bottlenecks: High reliance on phone calls and text messages to verify driver locations.

Productivity Loss: Time wasted on manual status checks impairs efficiency across both production/logistics and customer service centers.

Planning Friction: Inability to optimize route assignments dynamically due to real-time visibility blind spots.

Solution concept

Proposed Solution

Consolidate all disparate map services and vehicle tracking tools scattered across individual applications into a single, unified map interface.

Core Objectives and Value Drivers

Centralized Fleet Visibility: Provide dispatchers with a real-time overview of all active vehicles.

Communication Reduction: Cut inbound/outbound status calls by making location data self-serve and instantly accessible.

Enhanced Operational Velocity: Enable customer center teams to give precise delivery/arrival updates without calling dispatch or drivers.
